Miles Overview
The Polestar 1 is the brand's flagship grand tourer, a low-volume coupe that showcases Volvo's engineering in a dramatic body. Inside, the cabin is a quiet, beautifully crafted space with premium materials and a focus on driver comfort. It's a strict two-seat coupe with a modest trunk, so think of it as a special occasion car rather than a daily hauler. The Polestar 1 is the only trim, a flagship grand tourer that pairs a 2.0L I4 hybrid with an electric motor for a combined 300 horsepower. The plug-in hybrid powertrain sends 738 lb-ft of torque through a eight-speed automatic to all four wheels, giving it strong off-the-line punch and a quiet electric range for short trips. The standard adaptive suspension keeps the ride composed on long tours, and the carbon-fiber body panels help offset the 5,170 pounds curb weight.
