Miles Overview
The 2016 Rogue is a compact crossover that seats five, with an optional third row on some trims for occasional extra passengers. It competes with the Honda CR-V, Toyota RAV4, and Ford Escape in the crowded compact SUV segment. The Rogue feels nimble in town with quick steering response, though the four-cylinder can feel strained when merging onto highways. Inside, the Rogue offers a versatile cabin with a divide-and-hide cargo system and a deep trunk well that keeps groceries from rolling around. Available safety tech includes blind spot warning, lane departure warning, and a backup camera, which owners find reassuring. The SV sits between the base S and the loaded SL, adding conveniences like push-button start and dual-zone automatic climate control without the leather and premium audio of the top trim. The SV's standard Divide-N-Hide cargo system lets you split the rear floor to create a deep well or a flat load floor, a clever feature the base S lacks.
