Miles Overview
The 2024 Kia Sorento is a midsize SUV that seats up to seven, slotting between the compact Sportage and the larger Telluride in Kia's lineup. It competes with the Honda Pilot, Hyundai Santa Fe, and Toyota Highlander, though it offers a more car-like driving feel than most of those rivals. The Sorento handles with a light, eager character that makes it feel smaller than it is, and the steering is well-weighted for a family SUV. Inside, the cabin offers a clean, modern design with available quilted leather, a panoramic sunroof, and a third row that folds flat for extra cargo room. The SX Prestige is the plug-in hybrid flagship, so you get the most efficient powertrain and the richest interior without stepping up to a larger SUV. Its 1.6L I4 plug-in hybrid and electric motor combine for 261 horsepower, and the 32 miles of range means many commutes use no gas at all. Standard quilted leather, a panoramic sunroof, and a 12.3-inch digital cluster make the cabin feel premium, though the third row is tight for adults.
