The 2023 Kia Sorento is a three-row midsize SUV that slots between the Sportage and the Telluride in Kia's lineup. It competes with the Honda Pilot, Toyota Highlander, and Hyundai Santa Fe, offering a bit more space than the latter. The Sorento handles confidently for a three-row SUV, with responsive steering and a composed ride on most roads. Inside, the cabin is well-built and features a clean dashboard, available second-row captain's chairs, and a useful third row for occasional use. Standard tech includes an 8-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus a suite of driver assistance features. The EX hybrid adds a power liftgate, heated front seats, and a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen over the X-Line S, while keeping the fuel-sipping hybrid powertrain.
