Miles Overview
The Sportage is Kia's compact SUV, the one you'd cross-shop with a RAV4 or CR-V if you want something a little more stylish. It handles neatly for a small SUV, with light steering that makes it easy to thread through traffic. The cabin is roomy for the class, and the seats stay comfortable on long trips. Some owners mention the front pillars can block your view at intersections, so you'll want to check your blind spots. The SX Turbo is the top Sportage, with a turbocharged 2.0L I4 that the LX and EX don't get. It makes 240 horsepower and sends it through an automatic transmission to front-wheel drive, which keeps it lively around town. This trim's sportier suspension and larger wheels make the ride firmer, but you'll feel more connected on twisty roads.
