Miles Overview
The Sportage is Kia's compact SUV, the one that competes with the Honda CR-V and Toyota RAV4. It steers crisply and feels nimble around town, though the ride is on the firm side. The cabin is roomy up front and the rear seats fold flat, but rear legroom is a bit tight for taller passengers. Some owners mention blind spots and a lack of trunk space, and a few report surface rust on the gas tank. Its 2.4L I4 makes 182 horsepower and pairs with a six-speed automatic, which feels smooth and responsive around town. The EX's available navigation and upgraded audio system are the main reasons to step up from the LX.
