Miles Overview
The Carnival is Kia's minivan, the one that trades the old Sedona name for a boxier, more SUV-like look. It drives more like a big crossover than a traditional van, with a composed ride and light, accurate steering. The cabin is genuinely flexible, with second-row seats that slide and recline and a third row that folds flat into the floor. A wide dual-screen dashboard layout is standard on most trims, and the infotainment responds quickly to inputs. The SX Prestige is the top Carnival, for buyers who want the fanciest cabin and the most standard features before stepping up to a luxury SUV. The 3.5L V6 makes 290 horsepower and drives the front wheels through a smooth eight-speed automatic, returning 22 mpg combined. Only the SX Prestige gets ventilated front seats, a Bose premium audio system, and a dual sunroof.
