Miles Overview
The 2026 Kia Carnival is a family-focused minivan that stands apart with bold styling and a long list of standard features. It competes directly with the Honda Odyssey and Toyota Sienna, offering a more distinctive design and a strong value proposition. The Carnival drives with surprising agility for a minivan, with responsive steering and a composed ride that makes it easy to maneuver in town. Inside, the cabin is spacious and well-appointed, with comfortable seating for up to eight and clever storage throughout. Standard tech includes a large touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus a full suite of driver-assistance features. The EX gives up the SX Prestige's fancier cabin touches and larger wheels, but keeps the same strong V6 and most of the useful tech for thousands less. Its 3.5L Gas Direct Injection V6 Engine makes 287 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic and two-wheel drive that feels smooth and responsive around town, earning 21 mpg combined. The EX can be ordered with a tow hitch, making it one of the few minivans rated for light towing straight from the factory.
