Miles Overview
The 2025 Kia Carnival is a family-focused minivan that takes on the Honda Odyssey and Toyota Sienna with a bold, SUV-like look. The Carnival drives with a composed, car-like feel, and the steering is well-weighted for a minivan, making it easy to maneuver in town. Inside, the Carnival offers a spacious cabin with three rows of seating and a versatile cargo area that swallows strollers and sports gear. Standard tech includes a large touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus a suite of driver-assistance features. The LX LXS is the entry point for the Carnival, sitting below the EX and skipping the hybrid option entirely. Its 3.5L V6 makes 287 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque, routed through a eight-speed automatic to the front wheels, which feels strong enough for highway merging even with a full load. You get eight seats with removable second-row chairs and a manual tailgate, which keeps the price low but means no power liftgate.
