Miles Overview
The Carnival is Kia's minivan, the one that trades the old Sedona name for a boxier, more SUV-like look. It drives more like a big crossover than a traditional van, with a composed ride and light, accurate steering. The cabin is genuinely flexible, with second-row seats that slide and recline and a third row that folds flat into the floor. A wide dual-screen dashboard layout is standard on most trims, and the infotainment responds quickly to inputs. The LX Seat is the entry-level Carnival, saving you thousands over the EX but giving up power-sliding doors and a power liftgate. Every Carnival uses the same 3.5L V6 making 290 horsepower, paired with an eight-speed automatic and two-wheel drive, which moves this van with authority. The LX Seat swaps the second-row captain's chairs for a bench, bringing seating for eight instead of the standard seven.
