Miles Overview
The Soul is Kia's boxy subcompact SUV, the one with the upright stance and the fun two-tone roof options. It's eager around town, with a light steering feel and a ride that's on the firm side, which is the trade for how flat it stays in corners. The cabin feels airy and surprisingly roomy for the footprint, and the available panoramic sunroof makes it even brighter inside. Owners report strong dependability, though a few mention the built-in navigation can be slow or unresponsive at times. Heated front seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and the larger 10.25-inch touchscreen set the EX apart from the GT-Line below it. The 2.0L I4 makes 147 horsepower and pairs with an automatic transmission, sending power to the front wheels and returning 30 mpg combined. A sunroof is optional on the EX, and the upright shape gives you 62.1 cubic feet of cargo space with the rear seats folded.
