The 2023 EV6 is Kia's dedicated electric crossover, slotting above the Niro EV as the brand's flagship EV. It lines up against the Tesla Model Y, Ford Mustang Mach-E, and Hyundai Ioniq 5. The EV6 feels quick and composed, with instant torque and a low center of gravity that makes it genuinely fun to hustle. The ride is firm and well-controlled, which sharpens handling but means you'll feel sharper pavement impacts. Its fastback SUV body offers a spacious cabin and a useful cargo area, though rear headroom is a bit tight for tall passengers. The GT is the top of the EV6 range, above the Wind and GT-Line, and it trades some range for serious performance. With 576 horsepower and 545 lb-ft of torque from its electric motor, the GT rockets to 60 mph in about 3.4 seconds, though that pace drops 206 miles of range. The GT's electronically controlled suspension and drift mode are exclusive to this trim, making it the most track-focused EV6.
