Miles Overview
The Veloster is Hyundai's compact three-door hatchback, a coupe-like shape with an extra door on the passenger side for easier back-seat access. It's a nimble little car that feels eager in corners, with quick steering and a light, tossable character that makes city driving fun. The cabin is snug but well laid out, and the rear seat is tight for adults, so it's best for one or two people most of the time. Cargo space is decent for the size, and the hatchback opening makes it easy to load groceries or weekend bags. Heated front seats, a larger touchscreen, and standard Apple CarPlay set the Premium apart from the base Veloster, which uses a smaller screen and cloth seats. The 2.0L I4 makes 147 horsepower and pairs with a six-speed automatic, which gives it a relaxed character around town and 30 mpg combined at the pump.
