Miles Overview
The 2012 Veloster is Hyundai's quirky three-door hatchback, a coupe-like shape with an extra door on the passenger side for easier back-seat access. It's light and nimble, with quick steering that makes it fun in tight corners, though the ride is firm and you'll feel bumps on rough pavement. The cabin feels modern for 2012, with a big touchscreen, Bluetooth, and a panoramic sunroof on many examples, but rear seats are snug and cargo space is limited. Owners generally report few mechanical issues, but some mention fragile tires, a wobbly rearview mirror, and occasional touchscreen glitches. The GLS is the only trim available for 2012, so you get the same engine, features, and chassis as every other Veloster.
