Miles Overview
The Veloster N is Hyundai's hot hatch, a three-door coupe-like hatchback that punches well above its price. It's a blast to drive, with sharp steering and a chassis that loves a back road, though the ride is firm. The cabin is driver-focused with supportive seats and a sporty vibe, but rear space is tight and the third door is quirky. It's not the most frugal hot hatch, but you get a lot of performance for the money. The N is the only Veloster trim, so you get the full hot-hatch treatment without stepping up to a pricier model. Its 2.0L I4 makes 250 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque, and the six-speed automatic sends power to the front wheels with a limited-slip differential to help put it down. The N's electronically controlled suspension stiffens up in Sport+ mode, but the ride is firm enough that you'll feel every bump on a rough road.
