Miles Overview
The Venue is Hyundai's smallest SUV, a subcompact crossover that's easy to park and easy on the wallet. Its eager little engine and light weight make it feel zippier around town than the numbers suggest, though highway passing takes planning. The cabin is surprisingly roomy up front, and the tall roofline gives rear passengers decent headroom for such a small footprint. Cargo space is modest, but the rear seats fold flat to swallow a surprising amount of gear for weekend trips. The SE is the entry point for the Venue, and it skips some of the Limited's niceties like a sunroof and nicer wheels to keep the price low. Its 1.6L I4 makes 121 horsepower and pairs with a automatic transmission driving the front wheels, which is enough to keep up with city traffic without breaking a sweat. The SE rides on 15-inch steel wheels with plastic covers, so expect a slightly firmer ride over bumps than the Limited's larger alloys.
