Miles Overview
The 2024 Sonata is Hyundai's mid-size sedan, offering a comfortable commuter with a choice of efficient hybrids or a punchy turbocharged engine. It competes with the Honda Accord, Toyota Camry, and Nissan Altima, but the Sonata often undercuts them on price while offering more standard features. The Sonata's steering is light and direct, and the ride is composed on the highway, though the sportier trims firm things up noticeably. Inside, the cabin is roomy for four adults, with a large touchscreen and a clean, modern design that feels more upscale than its price suggests. The top-of-the-line Limited adds a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, and a Bose stereo that the SEL and N Line don't get. Its hybrid powertrain pairs a 2.0L 4-Cylinder Hybrid Engine with a six-speed automatic for 192 horsepower, and the EPA rates it at 47 mpg combined. Remote Smart Parking Assist lets you move the car in and out of a tight spot from outside, which is a party trick unique to this trim.
