Miles Overview
The Genesis Coupe is Hyundai's rear-drive sports coupe, aimed at buyers who want an affordable alternative to the Mustang and Camaro. It's a proper driver's car with a balanced chassis and sharp steering, and you'll feel the rear wheels working through corners. The ride is firm but composed, so you get good control without being beaten up on rough roads. Inside, the cabin is snug but well laid out, and the back seats are best treated as occasional use. The GLS is the one to get if you want the V6 power without stepping up to a more expensive trim, leaving the four-cylinder GS behind. Under the hood is a 3.8L I6 making 306 horsepower and 266 lb-ft of torque, paired with a six-speed automatic and rear-wheel drive, giving it real muscle-car punch. Expect fuel economy around 20 mpg combined when you're having fun, and a cabin that feels tight for anyone over six feet.
