Miles Overview
The 2016 Genesis is Hyundai's flagship sedan, a big rear-drive luxury car that undercuts the Germans on price. It's a smooth, quiet cruiser with plenty of power, and the ride is comfortable rather than sporty. Inside, you get a spacious cabin with soft leather, a big touchscreen, and a huge trunk that swallows two strollers. Owners report few problems, though the dash can crack in extreme heat and the rear AC is slow to cool. A coupe body and a big V6 set the Genesis apart from the four-door Genesis sedan. The 3.8L V6 makes 348 horsepower and drives the rear wheels through a six-speed automatic, good for 19 mpg combined.
