Miles Overview
The 2014 Genesis is Hyundai's flagship luxury car, offered as both a sedan and a coupe, with the sedan competing against the likes of the BMW 5 Series and Mercedes E-Class. The cabin is classy and comfortable, with leather seats, wood-grain trim, and an easy-to-use touchscreen with navigation. A few owners mention the car is big and heavy, and the radio knob can break easily, but overall reliability has been outstanding. The R Spec is the performance-focused Genesis Coupe, trading the V6 of the base model for a lighter, more engaging rear-drive setup. Its 2.0L I4 makes 274 horsepower and 275 lb-ft of torque, paired with a eight-speed automatic and rear-wheel drive, delivering a lively, tail-happy character that's rare in this price range.
