Miles Overview
The G80 is Genesis's mid-size luxury sedan, the one that goes up against the BMW 5 Series and Mercedes E-Class for thousands less. It's a quiet, comfortable cruiser that eats up highway miles, though it's not the sharpest handler in its class. Inside, the cabin is roomy and well built, with plenty of rear legroom and a big trunk for luggage. You get a crisp infotainment screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus a head-up display on higher trims. The Ultimate is the top G80 trim, sitting above the 3.8 and 3.3T Sport with a 5.0L I8 under the hood. That 5.0L I8 makes 420 horsepower and pairs with a eight-speed automatic and rear-wheel drive, giving it effortless highway passing. The EPA rates it at 18 mpg combined, which is the trade for that V8's smooth power delivery.
