Miles Overview
The G80 is Genesis's mid-size luxury sedan, the model that put the young brand on the map with its blend of comfort and value. It's the car to cross-shop against the BMW 5 Series and Mercedes E-Class, but with a lower starting price and a longer warranty. On the road it's calm and composed, with a hushed cabin that makes long highway miles feel effortless. Inside, the cabin is roomy and well-built, with comfortable seats and a straightforward layout that's easy to live with. The base G80 comes with a 3.8L I6 and rear-wheel drive, skipping the Sport and Ultimate trims' higher-power engines and sportier suspension. Its 3.8L I6 makes 311 horsepower, and the eight-speed automatic shifts smoothly, making this G80 a relaxed cruiser rather than a performance sedan.
