Miles Overview
The G80 is Genesis's mid-size luxury sedan, the one that goes up against the BMW 5 Series and Mercedes E-Class for thousands less. It's a quiet, comfortable cruiser that eats up highway miles, though it's not the sharpest handler in its class. Inside, the cabin is roomy and well built, with plenty of rear legroom and a big trunk for luggage. You get a crisp infotainment screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus a head-up display on higher trims. A bigger engine and more standard luxury features set the Ultimate apart from the base 3.8 trim below it. The 3.8L I6 makes 311 horsepower and sends it through an eight-speed automatic to the rear-wheel drive, good for 22 mpg combined.
