Miles Overview
The 2011 Genesis is Hyundai's rear-drive luxury sedan, a direct rival to the BMW 5 Series and Mercedes E-Class at a lower price. It's a smooth, quiet cruiser with strong acceleration, though the throttle is sensitive and takes a bit of getting used to. Inside, the cabin is roomy and upscale, with comfortable seats and a big trunk, but the rear seats don't fold down. The 3.8L V6 is the standard engine in the Genesis sedan, giving you a smooth 290 horsepower. Paired with the six-speed automatic and rear-wheel drive, this Genesis returns 21 mpg combined. The throttle is sensitive, so you'll want to ease into it from a stop for the smoothest takeoff.
