Miles Overview
The Elantra is Hyundai's compact sedan and coupe, competing with the Honda Civic and Toyota Corolla. It handles well and gets great gas mileage, which makes long drives easy, though the engine feels a bit weak for highway merging. The interior looks and feels nicer than the price suggests, with comfortable seats and a stylish design. Some owners note a few minor issues like a finicky sunglass holder or a subtle whistle under acceleration, but nothing major. The coupe body gives up two rear doors and some rear headroom versus the sedan, but it's the lightest and most affordable way into an Elantra.
