Miles Overview
The Accent is Hyundai's entry-level subcompact, offered as either a sedan or a hatchback for 2014. It's a peppy little car around town, and the light steering makes it easy to park and maneuver. The cabin is roomier than you'd expect, with enough legroom for tall folks and a decent trunk in the sedan. Owners consistently praise its fuel efficiency and low maintenance costs, making it cheap to run. If you want the extra versatility of a hatchback in the Accent, the SE is the one to pick over the GLS sedan. Under the hood is the same 1.6L I4 as the other trims, making 138 horsepower and sending power through a six-speed manual to the front-wheel drive. The SE comes with standard cruise control, which the lower trims don't get, and the six-speed manual is the only transmission offered.
