Miles Overview
The Ioniq 5 is Hyundai's retro-styled electric crossover, slotting between the Kona Electric and the larger Ioniq 9 in the brand's EV lineup. It competes with the Ford Mustang Mach-E, Tesla Model Y, and Volkswagen ID.4 in the compact electric SUV segment. The Ioniq 5 rides smoothly and handles corners with composure, making it feel more agile than its size suggests. Inside, the cabin is airy and modern, with a flat floor and sliding rear seats that free up generous passenger and cargo space. Standard tech includes a large touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus a suite of driver assists across trims. The Limited is the Ioniq 5 you pick when you want every feature Hyundai offers, compared to the SEL which skips the HUD and ventilated seats. This dual-motor Limited's 303 miles of range means you can drive from Los Angeles to San Francisco on a single charge, and its 800-volt system recharges in about 18 minutes at a 350 kW station. Only the Limited gets the head-up display, heated rear seats, and the panoramic roof as standard equipment.
