Miles Overview
The 2018 Kona is Hyundai's subcompact crossover, sized for city parking but with a taller ride height than a hatchback. It's eager and nimble around town, with light steering that makes tight turns and quick lane changes feel easy. The cabin is snug but well laid out, and the rear seats fold flat to swallow a surprising amount of cargo. With its small footprint and efficient engines, the Kona keeps fuel bills and insurance rates pleasantly low. The full suite of driver aids, a head-up display, and leather seats set the Ultimate apart from the Limited below it. Its 1.6L I4 makes 175 horsepower and pairs with a seven-speed automatic, giving it the strongest acceleration in the Kona lineup. This is the only Kona trim with a head-up display, which projects your speed and navigation onto the windshield.
