Miles Overview
The Kona is Hyundai's subcompact crossover, a small SUV that fits below the Tucson and competes with the Honda HR-V and Toyota C-HR. It's a fun little SUV to drive, with eager steering and a ride that's on the firm side but keeps body roll in check. The cabin is nicely put together for the class, with comfortable front seats and a rear seat that's snug for adults but fine for kids. Cargo space is modest, but the rear seats fold flat to open up room for weekend gear, and the tall roofline makes loading easy. Its 1.6L I4 makes 175 horsepower and 195 lb-ft of torque, paired with a seven-speed automatic and front-wheel drive for a lively feel around town. The head-up display projects speed and navigation onto the windshield, a feature you won't find on lower trims.
