Miles Overview
The 2021 Kona is Hyundai's small crossover, the one you cross-shop with the Honda HR-V and Mazda CX-3. It's a fun little SUV to hustle around town, with a light, eager feel that makes it more entertaining than most in its class. The ride is on the firm side, which is the trade for how well it corners, but the seats are supportive for longer drives. The cabin is snug in the back and cargo space is modest, so it's best for two people or a small family. Stepping up to the SEL gets you a larger 8-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a few extra convenience features over the base SE. With all-wheel drive, the SEL handles snow and gravel confidently, and it still returns 28 mpg combined.
