Miles Overview
The Kona Electric is Hyundai’s subcompact SUV that runs solely on battery power, with no gasoline engine option. Cargo space is tight behind the rear seats, a bit less than the regular Kona’s because of the battery pack. Charging at home costs much less than filling a gas tank, and you'll rarely need to visit a service center for routine maintenance. The SEL is the most affordable way into the Kona Electric, trading the Limited’s leather and sunroof for cloth seats and a lower MSRP. Its electric motor makes 201 horsepower and 290 lb-ft of torque, and the 258 miles of range means you can commute for a week without plugging in.
