Miles Overview
The 2023 Kona is a subcompact crossover that slots below the Tucson in Hyundai's SUV lineup. It competes with the Honda HR-V, Mazda CX-30, and Toyota Corolla Cross. The Kona feels eager and light on its feet, with quick steering that makes it fun in the city. The cabin is well laid out with supportive seats, though rear legroom is tight for adults. The SE is the base Kona, and it still gets you a 2.0L I4 with 147 horsepower and front-wheel drive. With the automatic transmission, this Kona returns 32 mpg combined and feels peppy around town.
