Miles Overview
The 2018 Kona is Hyundai's subcompact crossover, sized for city parking but with a taller ride height than a hatchback. It's eager and nimble around town, with light steering that makes tight turns and quick lane changes feel easy. The cabin is snug but well laid out, and the rear seats fold flat to swallow a surprising amount of cargo. With its small footprint and efficient engines, the Kona keeps fuel bills and insurance rates pleasantly low. The SEL skips the Limited's larger touchscreen and leather upholstery, saving a few thousand dollars while keeping the essentials. Its 2.0L I4 and six-speed automatic feel responsive around town, and the front-wheel drive setup returns 30 mpg combined.
