Miles Overview
The 2018 Kona is Hyundai's subcompact crossover, sized for city parking but with a taller ride height than a hatchback. It's eager and nimble around town, with light steering that makes tight turns and quick lane changes feel easy. The cabin is snug but well laid out, and the rear seats fold flat to swallow a surprising amount of cargo. With its small footprint and efficient engines, the Kona keeps fuel bills and insurance rates pleasantly low. Standard all-wheel drive and the lowest starting price distinguish the SE from the pricier SEL and Limited trims. The 2.0L I4 and six-speed automatic make 147 horsepower, and the EPA rates it at 27 mpg combined.
