2020 Hyundai Tucson Ultimate

The 2020 Tucson is Hyundai's compact SUV, slotting between the smaller Kona and the larger Santa Fe. The Tucson handles confidently and steers precisely, though the base engine feels leisurely under hard acceleration. The cabin offers generous passenger space and a straightforward infotainment system, but lower trims use hard plastics. Standard safety tech includes forward collision warning and lane keeping assist, with blind spot monitoring available. Hyundai's long warranty and strong predicted reliability ratings make the Tucson a low-stress ownership prospect. The Ultimate adds leather upholstery, a panoramic sunroof, and a larger touchscreen that the SEL and below don't offer. Its 2.4L I4 makes 181 horsepower, and with four-wheel drive and the seven-speed automatic you get 23 mpg combined. Only the Ultimate brings Hyundai's hands-free smart liftgate and a premium Infinity audio system.
