Miles Overview
The 2019 Tucson is Hyundai's compact SUV, slotting between the smaller Kona and the larger Santa Fe. It competes with the Honda CR-V, Toyota RAV4, and Ford Escape in the crowded compact crossover segment. The Tucson feels composed and responsive around town, with light steering that makes parking easy. Inside, the cabin offers generous passenger space for the class, though some lower trims use harder plastics. Cargo space is competitive, and the rear seats fold nearly flat for hauling larger items. The Night trim adds blacked-out exterior trim and dark 18-inch wheels over the SEL, giving it a sportier look without the Sport trim's price. Its 2.4L I4 makes 181 horsepower and pairs with an {automatic transmission} and {all-wheel drive}, delivering confident traction in rain or light snow.
