Miles Overview
The 2022 Spark is Chevrolet's smallest hatchback, a city-friendly runabout that's easy to park and cheap to run. Its little engine is eager around town, though you'll want to plan ahead for highway merges. The cabin is snug for rear passengers, but the hatch opens to a surprisingly generous cargo area for the size. The ACTIV trim adds a rugged look with roof rails, unique wheel covers, and a sportier interior compared to the 2LT. The 1.4L I4 makes 98 horsepower and pairs with the automatic transmission, so it's peppy around town but needs a long run-up for freeway merging. The ACTIV's raised suspension and all-season tires give it a slightly more confident stance on gravel roads than other Sparks.
