The Trax is Chevrolet's small crossover, the one you cross-shop with the Honda HR-V and Nissan Kicks for easy city parking and a tall seating position. The cabin is roomier than the footprint suggests, with lots of small-item storage and a back seat that fits two adults without feeling cramped. Cargo space is modest, so a double stroller or a big Costco run will test its limits, but the rear seats fold flat when you need more room. Standard tech includes a touchscreen with Bluetooth and available remote start through the MyChevrolet app, which owners say they use constantly. Leather upholstery, heated front seats, and a 7-inch touchscreen set the LTZ apart from the LT and LS trims below it. Its 1.4L I4 makes 138 horsepower and 148 lb-ft of torque, routed through a six-speed automatic to all four wheels, and it returns 27 mpg combined. The LTZ also adds 18-inch alloy wheels and a leather-wrapped steering wheel, giving the cabin a more upscale feel than the lower trims.
