Miles Overview
The 2022 Trax is Chevrolet's smallest crossover, a subcompact SUV slotting below the Equinox in the lineup. It competes with the Honda HR-V, Nissan Kicks, and Ford EcoSport in the subcompact crossover class. The Trax feels nimble around town, with light steering that makes parking easy, though the engine works hard on the highway. The cabin is basic but functional, with a simple dashboard and seating for five, though rear legroom is tight. A 7-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto comes standard, along with a rearview camera. Its 1.4L I4 makes 155 horsepower and 177 lb-ft of torque, paired with a six-speed automatic and front-wheel drive, returning 27 mpg combined.
