The 2025 Trax is Chevrolet's entry-level subcompact SUV, slotting below the Equinox and competing with the Kia Soul and Hyundai Kona. The turbo three-cylinder feels eager around town, and the light body makes the Trax nimble in tight city traffic. The ride is firm over broken pavement, which is the trade-off for its tidy handling and stable highway manners. Inside, the Trax offers a simple dashboard with an 8-inch touchscreen, and rear legroom is generous for the class. The LT adds remote start, keyless start, and an 11-inch touchscreen over the base LS, while keeping the same 17-inch wheels and cloth seats.
