Miles Overview
The Encore GX is Buick's subcompact SUV, a bit larger than the regular Encore and aimed at buyers who want a small crossover with a bit more room. It's easy to drive around town, with light steering and a suspension that soaks up bumps well, though it's not what you'd call sporty. The cabin feels upscale for the class, with soft-touch materials and a clean layout, and the rear seats offer decent space for adults. Cargo space is generous for a subcompact, and the low load floor makes it easy to haul groceries or luggage. The 1.3L I3 pairs with a nine-speed automatic and all-wheel drive, giving it confident traction in rain or light snow and a useful bump in power over the base engine. The Select rides on 18-inch wheels and adds a power-adjustable driver's seat and keyless entry, which the Preferred leaves out.
