Miles Overview
The Encore is Buick's subcompact crossover, a small SUV that's easy to park and maneuver in tight city spots. It drives smoothly and quietly, with a ride that soaks up bumps well for its size. Inside, the cabin feels upscale for the class, but the back seat and cargo area are snug, so it's best for one or two people. Standard tech includes a rearview camera and an infotainment screen that's easy to reach and use. A lower starting price and standard rearview camera set the Base apart from the rest of the Encore range. Its 1.4L I4 makes 138 horsepower and pairs with the six-speed automatic and all-wheel drive, which helps it feel confident in wet or light snow. The Base skips the upgraded infotainment screen and heated seats of higher trims, so you'll get a simpler cabin.
