2024 Buick Encore GX Sport Touring

The 2024 Encore GX is Buick's subcompact crossover, slotting below the compact Envista and above nothing else in the lineup. It competes with the Chevrolet Trailblazer, Kia Seltos, and Hyundai Kona, all offering similar size and available all-wheel drive. The Encore GX feels nimble in town, with light steering and a small footprint that makes parking easy; the base engine is adequate for daily driving. The cabin is well-trimmed for the class, with soft-touch materials and a clean dashboard, though rear legroom is tight for adults. An 11-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto comes standard, along with a suite of driver-assistance features. Its 1.3L I3 makes 155 horsepower and 174 lb-ft of torque, paired with a CVT and front-wheel drive that together deliver 30 mpg combined.
