2024 Buick Encore GX Preferred

The 2024 Encore GX is Buick's subcompact crossover, slotting below the compact Envista and above nothing else in the lineup. It competes with the Chevrolet Trailblazer, Kia Seltos, and Hyundai Kona, all offering similar size and available all-wheel drive. The Encore GX feels nimble in town, with light steering and a small footprint that makes parking easy; the base engine is adequate for daily driving. The cabin is well-trimmed for the class, with soft-touch materials and a clean dashboard, though rear legroom is tight for adults. An 11-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto comes standard, along with a suite of driver-assistance features. Standard cloth seats and 18-inch bright silver wheels set the Preferred apart as the entry point below the Sport Touring and Avenir trims.
