Miles Overview
The RAV4 is Toyota's compact SUV, a practical choice that competes with the Honda CR-V and Ford Escape. It handles nimbly and feels light on its feet, making it easy to maneuver in tight spots and park in crowded lots. Inside, you get a roomy cabin with generous legroom and a large cargo area, plus a handy extra trunk compartment. Owners report that this generation is durable and dependable, though some mention squeaks and recalls as minor annoyances. This Standard Without Third Seat is the no-frills RAV4, skipping the third row and some convenience items to keep the price down. It packs a 3.5L V6 making 269 horsepower paired with an {automatic transmission} and four-wheel drive, which gives it punchy acceleration for passing and merging. Expect a firmer ride than the Limited, as the Standard trim uses a simpler suspension setup without the extra sound-deadening.
