Miles Overview
The Solterra is Subaru's first all-electric SUV, a compact crossover that shares its bones with the Toyota bZ4X. The ride is on the firm side, which is the trade for how flat it stays through corners. Inside, the cabin is roomy for four adults, and the cargo area is generous for a compact SUV. The Premium is the trim for buyers who want the full 288 miles of range without stepping up to the Limited or Touring. Dual electric motors send 233 horsepower through continuously variable automatic (CVT) and all-wheel drive, giving the SUV a smooth, linear shove from a stop. It rolls on smaller wheels than the higher trims, which helps cushion the firm ride just a bit.
