Miles Overview
The xB is Scion's boxy compact wagon, the one that started the whole toaster-on-wheels trend. It's not quick, but the engine moves it along fine for city driving, and the tall seating gives you a great view of the road. Inside, the cabin is genuinely roomy, with a tall roof and a rear seat that folds flat for bulky cargo. Built on Toyota bones, the xB is known for being dependable and cheap to keep on the road. Its 2.4L I4 makes 158 horsepower and pairs with a four-speed automatic, which is fine for around-town driving but feels busy on the highway. Every xB came with stability control and side curtain airbags, plus a 160-watt Pioneer stereo with an auxiliary input that was ahead of its time.
