The 2025 GX is Lexus's body-on-frame SUV, the one that still feels like a proper off-roader underneath. It's a big, heavy thing, but the steering is direct and the brakes feel strong for a truck this size. The ride is on the firm side, especially with the off-road tires, which is the trade for how well it handles rough trails. Inside, you get a commanding view and a cabin that's genuinely quiet on the highway, with room for five and a decent cargo bay behind the third row. The Premium+ sits above the base Premium and below the Luxury+, adding the moonroof and power-folding third row while skipping some of the Luxury+ extras. Under the hood is a 3.4L V6 making 349 horsepower, routed through a 10-speed automatic transmission and full-time four-wheel drive with a locking center differential.
