Miles Overview
The GX is Lexus's body-on-frame SUV, the one that still feels like a proper truck underneath the luxury. The ride is on the firm side over broken pavement, but it's quiet and composed on the highway. Inside, the cabin is a mix of old-school buttons and high-quality materials, with room for seven and a real third row. The Luxury trim adds the off-road hardware and the adjustable suspension, so you give up some highway fuel economy for serious trail capability. The 4.6L V8 makes 301 horsepower and 329 lb-ft of torque, and with four-wheel drive and a low-range transfer case it's one of the few luxury SUVs that can still rock-crawl. The adaptive variable suspension lets you soften the ride on dirt roads or firm it up for highway stability, and it's a feature you'll actually use.
