Miles Overview
The GX 460 is Lexus's body-on-frame luxury SUV, the one that still feels like a proper truck underneath. It's a relaxed cruiser on the highway, with a smooth ride that suits long trips, though the steering is light and a bit vague. The cabin is genuinely plush, with comfortable seats and a quiet interior, but the third row is tight for adults. Lexus's reputation for dependability carries over here, and the GX is known to last well past 200,000 miles with regular maintenance. The Premium trim adds leather upholstery, heated and ventilated front seats, and a power moonroof over the Base model. Under the hood is a 4.6L V8 making 301 horsepower and 329 lb-ft of torque, paired with a six-speed automatic and full-time four-wheel drive, delivering a claimed 17 mpg combined. The Premium can be had with a rear-seat entertainment system and adaptive variable suspension, which firms up the ride noticeably in Sport mode.
